This index is the combination of the three separate indexes from Vol.'s I, II and III compiled by the DAR and the Library of Michigan.
Page numbers followed by DAR, i.e. 17DAR are from the original 1948 DAR reading of the Sharp Deerfield Cemetery in Vol. II. This has been replaced by a new reading of that cemetery in 1982 by Gladys Reeve. Almost all the names found in the 1948 reading also appear in the 1982 reading. Names from both readings are included in this index.
Campbell Town Cemetery was read by Mrs. Potter in 1950.
Lakeview Cemetery only includes names from the City Hall Record Book. This consists mainly of re-interments of those removed from the Old Howell Village Cemetery on Barnard Street, removal from a few other cemeteries and burials in Potter's Field. A more complete listing of Lakeview Cemetery is located in the Genealogy Reference Section.
